The Conclave of Akrohsia has learned the Giants seek to resurrect the war machine, known as the Vonindod. The Giants needs only to acquire a new life spark to reactive the war machine, primordial fire elemental trapped in a dwarven city lost in the Astral Sea. Fearing the war machine that slayed many of their kin during the Dragon/Giant war (1,000 year war), the Conclave sent emissaries throughout the known world seeking those with capabilities and skills, who would be willing to under take the dangerous mission of stopping the resurrection of the Vonindod. An unlikely group of individuals answered the Conclave's call and now are likely to decide the fate of all who call Faerun home with their success or failure.
